“Weather you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are right.” – Henry Ford

“You Can’t Live A Positive Life With A Negative Mind” – Dr. Josh Axe

Mindset is the foundation for a truly successful lifestyle in all areas – financial, health, family, parenting, etc. A supercharged mindset is built around a reverence for the amazing ability your human body has and how special God made us. Your mindset has the ability to catalyze internal energy within you, providing strength to your immune system and actions along with a renewed zest for life.

Have you heard of “Stinking Thinking?” – you know the ‘self-talk’ we all repeat to ourselves about how bad things are. They fly in the face of truth, yet seem so real that many of us get stuck in a mindset of failure, disappointment and lack. Henry Ford’s quote (above) has an amazing realization – what you believe to be the truth becomes your reality!

If you believe your body was given an the same power used to create the universe – then you are powerful beyond belief.

If you believe you were created to live in harmony with your environment, rather than be dominated by our environment, pathogenic organisms and disease processes would have no power over year.

In fact, to help you understand this more, we now know that in order for your body to be healthy and strong, exposure to these microbes is actually required to stimulate your systems to get stronger.

Foundational Elements of A Mastered Mindset

Gratitude for Every Moment and Every Experience

Everyone feels better when they focus on what they are grateful for. Research has revealed that gratitude is a powerful stimulant for your energy levels and immune system, and it helps to relax stress hormones making you feel more peaceful.

A study out of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology in February of 2003, found that participants who kept weekly gratitude journals exercised more regularly, reported fewer physical symptoms, felt better about their lives as a whole and were more optimistic about the coming week compared to those who recorded hassles or neutral life events. The same researchers have reported that while grateful people don’t ignore the negative aspects of life, they tend to report positive emotions, life satisfaction and vitality as well as greater optimism and lower levels of depression and stress than people who are not grateful.

Reverence for the Innate Power within the Human Body

Here are some other amazing facts that should inspire a reverence for the Innate Power that runs our bodies each and every day.

  • The human body develops from 2 cells to ~70 trillion cells in the matter of 9 months in the mother’s womb.
  • Nerve impulses to and from the brain travel as fast as 170 miles per hour.
  • The brain operates on the same amount of power as a 10-watt light bulb. This is energy is there all the time, even when you are asleep – it never turns off!
  • A human brain cell can hold 5 times as much information as any complete encyclopedia. This storage capacity is thought to be about 1,000 terabytes (1 million gigabytes [GB]).

Passionate Persistence in the Midst of Challenge

The human body was designed for stress, survival and adaptation. Challenges force us to adapt physically, biochemically, mentally and emotionally. These are good changes as they help us survive and thrive in an ever-changing world. These changes and transformation do not always feel or appear pleasant but they are necessary to help us elevate our lives.

Your immune system is a muscle and must be challenged in order to grow and become stronger and more resilient. Faith is also a muscle and must be challenged in order to grow and break new spiritual ground and more submission to God’s great plan in our life.

Speaking Death Over Yourself?

The Bible is clear over the power of spoken word. When programming your mind watch out for what you say physically (or even silently to yourself). Words like “My (blank) is killing me,” “I can’t do that,” “I’m Stressed Out” or “I don’t have what it takes” are simply affirming non-truths about yourself. Unfortunately, if you continue to speak to yourself in this manner, they do eventually become true–but only because you made them true!

Begin to speak life over yourself and others to change the way you think. Try these on a daily basis:

  • The Power Within Me Is Greater Than Anything In The World
  • Power, Life & Healing are flowing in my veins, regenerating sick and diseased tissues and restoring my body to fullness of life
  • My body is adapting and becoming stronger every day
  • My Immune System is strong and robust

Please take your thoughts and attitudes seriously. These are the key to your health, your happiness and perhaps even life as a whole.
