As I’m sure you are aware, hot dogs are a wrapped bomb of toxic meats and various chemical additives.  If you’re looking for an excellent ketogenic substitute, try our Chicken Sausage.  You can even kick it up a notch by adding freshly fermented sauerkraut.

This is sure to be a hit with your kids and at any summer grilling party

Ingredients

  • 1 lb organic free-range chicken sausage, sliced
  • 1 lb fermented sauerkraut (See recipe here)
  • 4-5 sliced dill pickles
  • 2 tbsp organic dijon mustard

Directions

Most chicken sausage comes pre-cooked, but make sure you heat them thoroughly.

Scoop the raw sauerkraut as a side or place all toppings on top of the sausage.

Serve & Enjoy!
