A combo of your favorite greens and apple makes for an outstanding smoothie.  So filling and satisfying, you'll want to make this a daily staple.  Not too sweet, but exactly what your body needs for true health.  Sip and enjoy!!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith apple (peel on)
  • Baby spinach or kale
  • Juice of 1 organic lemon plus one slice of lemon (including peel)
  • Stevia, to taste
  • Coconut water
  • Optional: Unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk, fresh ginger, mint leaves

Directions

  1. Put everything in a Vitamix or high powered blender and mix until all ingredients are completely liquified.
  2. Put in a glass mason jar with a lid. (Because you are keeping the whole apple and including greens, it will have a fairly heavy consistency to it.)
  3. If it begins to settle, continue to shake.
