Hummus is a complete protein providing a multitude of essential vitamins and minerals. It is high in healthy unsaturated fats.


  • 2 cans rinsed chickpeas
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 Tbs. lemon juice
  • Salt and cayenne pepper or paprika


Place all ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. (Serves 4)
