Take Control Of Your Blood Pressure In 3 Easy Steps

We know that high blood pressure is preventable. A recent study found that people of any age can reduce their risk of developing high blood pressure, or hypertension, by maintaining a healthy weight, getting regular moderate exercise, following a diet low in fat and sodium yet rich in fruits and vegetables, not smoking, and limiting alcohol. The researchers followed nearly thirteen hundred men and women in the study who were between the ages of fifty-five and sixty-five at the start of the analysis. Overall, the researcher found the chances that these middle-aged Americans would develop stage one hypertension (or high blood pressure) was ninety percent during their lifetimes.

Although hypertension medication is very popular, there are far better and safer ways to handle this condition. Methods and lifestyles that get to the root cause of the problem and don’t just treat the condition.

Your initial step is to eliminate sugar and grains from your diet, particularly foods that contain fructose. Eating sugars and grains, including any type of bread, pasta, corn, potatoes, or rice, will cause your insulin levels, and your blood pressure, to remain elevated. A study published earlier this year discovered that those who consumed 74 grams or more per day of fructose (the equivalent of about 2.5 sugary drinks) had a seventy-seven percent greater risk of having blood pressure levels of 160/100 mmHg. This is significant because the average American now consumes seventy grams of fructose every day!

Three other ways to naturally deal with high blood pressure include these simple and easy steps:

NORMALIZE YOUR OMEGA 6:3 RATIO

Both omega-3 and omega-6 fats are essential for your health. Most Americans, however, have a 20:1 ratio, but should have a 4:1 ratio. Consuming the correct omega 6:3 ratio is one of the best ways to re- sensitize your insulin receptors if you suffer from insulin resistance. The proper ratios are typically found in flaxseed oil, walnut oil and fish, with fish being by far the best source. Maximized Living Perfect Ratio Omega product is an excellent source of Omega 6 and Omega 3.

INCORPORATE REGULAR EXERCISE IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Exercise not only works to increase the size of blood vessels to allow for better flow of blood to tissues of the body, but it is also a great stress reliever. Stress and the inability to deal with it properly is another main cause of high blood pressure. Burst or interval type exercises have actually been shown to be better than traditional aerobic long duration workouts at decreasing the risk of hypertension and dying from heart disease.

GET REGULAR SPINAL ADJUSTMENTS

Research shows that an atlas adjustment can lower blood pressure better than two prescriptions.

“This procedure has the effect of not one, but two blood-pressure medications given in combination,” study leader George Bakris, MD states.

Eight weeks after undergoing the procedure (the atlas adjustment), twenty-five patients with early-stage high blood pressure had significantly lower blood pressure than twenty-five similar patients who weren’t adjusted.

If you or someone you know is struggling with their blood pressure, these are very powerful tools to help correct the issue by getting to the cause. I would suggest reaching out to them for one of our upcoming events. You never know how far something you say or do today will impact the lives of those around you. You could be the answer to the prayer they are looking for!!!
