Taco Tuesday Bowls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb Ground Organic Turkey
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika, garlic & onion powder
  • Himalayan salt / pepper to taste
  • 4 cups shredded salad mix
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion, black olives & fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Siete Salsa (sugar free)
  • Lime Wedges

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat then add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with the cooked meat. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, sliced black olives, avocado and chopped fresh cilantro.
  4. Spoon taco meat mixture over the salad, drizzle with salsa and fresh lime juice
  5. Serve & Enjoy
