This is a great, flavorful way to get the healthy fats and nutrients from a nice piece of wild-caught salmon without falling into the bland, salmon rut. It’s a savory, slightly sweet, asian addition to the fish you need to be adding to your diet. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
For Teriyaki sauce:
- 1/4 cup tamari
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1 TBSP sesame oil
- 1 TBSP freshly grated gingerroot
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
For the fish:
- 2 lbs. wild Alaskan salmon fillets
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Directions:
Combine the ingredients for the sauce. Place fish in a glass dish and pour the marinade over top. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Grill the fish or bake on a broiler setting. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side while basting with leftover marinade. Serve fish with lemon wedges.
