Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef (grass-fed if possible)
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 TSP sea salt
- 1 TSP black pepper
- 1/2 TSP garlic powder
- 1/2 TSP onion powder
- Herb Butter Glaze:
- 1/2 CUP grass-fed butter
- 1 TBSP fresh or dried sage, finely chopped
- 1 TBSP fresh or dried thyme, finely chopped
- 1 TBSP fresh or dried rosemary, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Mix until everything is well incorporated. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped sage, thyme, and rosemary to the melted butter, stirring gently.
- Let the herbs infuse the butter for about 2-3 minutes, ensuring they don’t burn.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
- Pour the warm herb butter glaze over the meatballs, tossing gently
- to coat them evenly.
- Serve immediately.
