No one will notice (or care) that these delicious brownies are sugar free. It’s a perfect dessert, combining chocolate, visual presentation and the classic brownie tradition. They won’t disappoint.
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup coconut our or almond our, sifted
- 3 Tbsp. stevia powder
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup brewed coffee
- 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk+ 2 tsp. apple cider
vinegar, mixed together in a separate bowl (“buttermilk”) - 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1⁄2 tsp. sea salt
- Coconut oil
- Optional: walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F and grease an 8×8 pan with coconut oil
- In a large mixing bowl combine our, baking soda, cinnamon, salt
and stevia. Set aside - In a medium size saucepan, combine butter, coffee and cocoa
powder. Stir and heat to boiling - Pour boiling cocoa mixture over our mixture in bowl and
combine - Add remaining ingredients and combine well with spoon or
electric mixer - Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 20 minutes or until
toothpick comes out of center clean. - Top with whipped cream or coconut cream, dust with cocoa
powder and enjoy!
