Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (such as dill, parsley, or thyme), chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the trimmed asparagus to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, just until slightly tender.
- Take a piece of parchment paper and place a salmon fillet in the center. Arrange a portion of asparagus next to the salmon.
- Drizzle some of the garlic-infused olive oil over the salmon and asparagus. Place a couple of lemon slices on top.
- Carefully fold the edges of the paper to create a sealed bundle.
- Repeat the process for the remaining salmon fillets and asparagus.
- Place the bundles on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully open the packets, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
