Classic Black Bean Soup

INGREDIENTS (All Organic):

  • 2 Cans Black Beans
  • 1 CUP Bone Broth (Beef/Chicken)
  • 2 TBSP Coconut Oil
  • 1 Small White Onion (Diced)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1/4 TSP Himalayan Salt
  • 1/4 TSP Black Pepper
  • 1/4 TSP Chili Powder
  • 1/4 TSP Cumin
  • 3 TSP Cilantro (optional)
  • 1 dollop Vegan Sour Cream (optional)
  • Kite Hill Almond Milk Sour Cream

PREPARATION:

  • Blend 1 can of black beans with 1 cup bone broth until thoroughly mixed.
  • In a large pot over medium heat sauté onion and garlic in 2 TBSP coconut oil until tender
  • Add the blended beans/broth then the additional can of black beans and spices
  • Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 min.
  • Serve and top with cilantro and/or vegan sour cream
