A Caesar salad can be a great meal, or side dish, or snack. Throw in some chicken and you’ve got healthy proteins. But why buy it, risking unhealthy ingredients, when you can make your own. It’s really not hard at all! Here’s a great recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 pasture-raised egg
- 1 capful anchovy paste
- 1 Tbsp organic Dijon style mustard (no sugar added)
- Organic extra virgin olive oil (more or less for your own preference in consistency)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Beat egg with electric mixer until fluffy
Add in the anchovy paste (to taste, but be careful, it’s powerful)
Add in mustard, olive oil, garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste. Beat with electric mixer at low speed until the desired consistency is reached. Keep refrigerated.
