These ultra low-carb detox bites are a convenient and delicious way to incorporate detoxifying ingredients into your diet while keeping your carb intake in check. Enjoy them as a snack or a guilt-free treat!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
2 TBSP chia seeds
1/4 cup almond butter
2 TBSP coconut oil, melted
1 TBSP lemon zest
1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
1 TSP spirulina powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, shredded coconut, chia seeds, spirulina powder and a pinch of sea salt.
Add almond butter, melted coconut oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough-like consistency forms.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls. If the mixture is too sticky, you can wet your hands with a bit of water to make it easier to handle.
Place the bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Serve & Enjoy.
