Fish Tacos with Baja Slaw

This is a very versatile dish. You can serve it with grilled or broiled salmon, cod, or mahi-mahi for an advanced plan option, wrap the taco using a paleo wrap or homemade coconut wrap.
Why not give it a try for dinner tonight?


Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder and grill or broil to desired doneness.

Baja Slaw
Slice very thin:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • any hot pepper you like (jalapeno, poblano, etc)


Mix the above ingredients and add the following:

  • 1 handful fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice

Let marinate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.

For an optional aioli type dressing:
Grapeseed veganaise mixed with ground chipotle pepper.

Suggested serving:
Low carb option: Plate the slaw and add your fish to the top.
Moderate carb option: Create a taco using the Baja Slaw as a base, fish next then grapeseed aoli using a paleo wrap or coconut flour tortilla wrap
