Ingredients
• 1 cup almond flour
• 2 large eggs
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 tablespoons avocado or coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
• 1/2 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
• Grass-Fed Butter or olive oil for brushing (optional)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, salt, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and optional dried herbs (oregano and basil).
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then, add the eggs and oil to the dry ingredients mixture. Stir until well combined and a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Place each portion of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten each portion of dough into a thin, flatbread shape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the flatbreads are cooked through.
- Optional: Once baked, brush the flatbreads with melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for added flavor.
- Let the flatbreads cool slightly before serving.
